Internal Family Systems
(IFS) is an approach to psychotherapy that identifies and addresses multiple sub-personalities or families within each person's mental system. Inside each of us is a structure of interwoven and interrelated parts. IFS helps people begin to relate to themselves differently—to love themselves. I use this method to respectfully assist clients in exploring and becoming curious about their inner world and experiences. The process can transform one’s internal critical voice into a supportive one. It can help one unload feelings of worthlessness. It can help ease chronic pain. It can achieve deep and lasting results, a powerful experience that I have been privileged to witness in my clients on numerous occasions.
IFS sessions include a three step process
IDENTIFY
By using IFS coaching we will determine together what is most important for you to focus on. Each session will illuminate the topic and issue that is going to bring clarity. Topics can be ongoing or change from session to session. This dynamic process is up to you.
TALK AND LISTEN
You lead the process and get to explore within. You will lead the discussion and choose whatever speed is comfortable for you. This deeply respectful, caring, and loving process may also include writing, physical movement, or art to help access inner parts.
deEPEN UNDERSTANDING
By gently using IFS coaching techniques and tools, this process can lead to life-changing understandings and modifications in unhelpful lifelong patterns of thought and behavior. My clients report often reclaiming the following qualities: calm, clarity, compassion, confidence, connectedness, courage, creativity, and curiosity.

Experience and Credentials
I work with individuals in a deep and transformative way. My passion for this work is fueled by my lifelong love of and curiosity about people. Assisting others to find that place of ease and connection within excites me. There is something about me that people find safe and easy. People quickly talk to me about deeply personal and consequential things. Being in meaningful conversations motivates me. Because of these experiences, I have a deep well of compassion. I care deeply about what will best serve YOU. I accompany my clients on their journey towards joy and healing. All my sessions are client led. It is my intention to help you better understand yourself so that you can stand firm in your strength and embrace the amazing experience of your life.
Recognizing a gift for and a desire to welcome more intimate and meaningful interactions with others, I studied Life Coaching with IPEC and became a Certified Life Coach in 2018. Finally, looking for a deeper way to effect change, I became Level One Certified in Internal Family Systems in 2019. I have been working with clients as a coach and an IFS practitioner since 2018.
